About Alchemix Tea

Alchemix Tea Co. started in Southland, New Zealand, with a simple goal, to drink tea that actually tasted like tea. After years of finding blends that smelled like perfume, were bulked out with dust, or hid behind artificial flavours, we decided to do it differently.

We went looking for growers who still cared about the leaf. Every tea we source is organic at source, grown without pesticides or sprays, and chosen for its flavour before anything else. If a blend doesn’t deserve a place in your cup on its own merits, it doesn’t make it into ours.

Our range is small because we want every tea to earn its spot. The French Earl Grey is bright and floral without being cloying. The matcha is shade-grown and stone-milled in Japan for a smooth, umami-rich cup. Our herbal blends are naturally caffeine-free but full of character.

We don’t aim to stock everything. We aim to stock what’s worth drinking. And we keep it simple: whole leaves, real botanicals, no fillers, no gimmicks.
